About This Event
<p>Our Food Bank Volunteer Training prepares new volunteers to assist with our weekly food distribution program. This comprehensive session covers:</p><ul><li>Food safety and handling procedures</li><li>Cultural sensitivity and client dignity practices</li><li>Volunteer roles and responsibilities</li><li>Food bank operations and logistics</li><li>Emergency procedures and policies</li></ul><p>Upon completion of this training, volunteers will be eligible to sign up for regular shifts at our food bank, which operates three days per week. This is an essential service for many families in our community, and volunteers play a crucial role in its operation. New volunteers must attend this training before their first shift.</p>
